One of the most highly anticipated matchups of the college football calendar every year is the annual Army-Navy rivalry game that takes place the week after championship Saturday.
These 2 storied programs have been playing each other almost annually since 1890 in a game that pits some of America’s best and bravest against one another on the gridiron for a matchup that features unparalleled pageantry.
One of the highlights of this storied rivalry is the unique uniforms that each team wears during the game each year. It has become tradition for both schools to don a new alternate uniform against one another that pays homage to a specific unit or event in their respective histories. This year’s meeting is no different, as both Army and Navy took the field in Baltimore sporting uniforms that pay homage to the 250 years of service that both branches have contributed to the defense of the United States.
Army is sporting a marble colored look that pays tribute to the headstones of the fallen soldiers buried in Arlington National Cemetery, while Navy’s look pays tribute to the iconic Revolutionary War-era warship, the USS Constitution.
Fans across the country naturally loved the looks that both squads are wearing, and they took to X to debate which one is better:
