Chad Kelly led the Toronto Argonauts to the CFL title, winning the Grey Cup this past season.

The former Ole Miss quarterback spent 2017 and 2018 with the Denver Broncos before being let go, and now it’s clear he wants another NFL shot.

As Kelly watched the Broncos fall 51-14 in a Christmas Day game to the Los Angeles Rams, he was very active on Twitter. As Denver QBs Russell Wilson and Brett Rypien combined to go 19-for-35 for 219 yards, 1 touchdown and 4 interceptions, Kelly not-so-subtly hinted that perhaps the Broncos would be better off with him running the offense:

He kept making his case as the game wore on:

Kelly was the final pick, or “Mr. Irrelevant” in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts in his career.

Will the Broncos call him for a reunion? We’ll see what happens as Denver tries to sort out its questionable QB situation moving forward.
