Things are looking good for Missouri when it comes to the recruitment of Texas receiver Chance Luper as the Fort Worth Christian product announced his decommitment from Boise State on Thursday.

This news comes after Missouri recently extended an offer to Luper. It should be noted that Luper’s father, Curtis Luper, was recently hired by Eli Drinkwitz to serve on the new Mizzou coaching staff.

Interestingly, Luper noted he decided to reopen his recruitment after discussions with his family, which you assume would include his father.

“After much thought and many conversations with my family, I have decided to decommit from Boise Tate and reopen my recruitment. Thank you Coach Harsin and the rest of the Boise State staff for giving me the opportunity to play at such a prestigious university.”

Luper caught 58 passes for 1,129 yards and 12 touchdowns for Fort Worth Christian last season. 247Sports Composite Rankings list Luper as a three-star prospect and the No. 173 receiver in the nation.
