Change of heart: Texas A&M QB was reportedly in the NCAA transfer portal for ‘about an hour’

For a brief window, Texas A&M QB James Foster was reportedly open to being recruited by other schools. That window wasn’t open.
Mark Passwaters of Rivals reported on Tuesday, via Twitter, that Foster entered the NCAA’s transfer portal this afternoon, but withdrew his name “about an hour later.”
A class of 2018 signee out of Lanier High School, Foster was rated 4-stars, the No. 10 Alabama product, No. 12 dual-threat quarterback and No. 271 prospect overall nationally for the class on the 247Sports Composite. Leading up to National Signing Day 2018, Foster took visits to LSU, Alabama, Florida State and Texas A&M.
Foster redshirted for the 2018 season. He made his Aggies debut on Sept. 14 against Lamar, going 2-of-5 passing for 25 yards. He also ran the ball twice for 17 yards.
I’m told A&M QB James Foster entered the transfer portal this afternoon…and withdrew about an hour later.
