Charles Barkley pranked with falling gator by Inside the NBA crew

Charles Barkley and the “Inside the NBA” crew know how to put on a good show. Not only does the quartet of Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson provide top-notch analysis, but the crew knows how to rib one another live to the delight of fans.
On Tuesday, it was Barkley who was the target of the latest hijinx. It began with O’Neal and Smith confiscating Barkley’s coffee cup, but it was only a setup.
The real prank came when an alligator was dropped on Barkley’s head straight from the ceiling in the studio. It was set up by a question for O’Neal about where his daughter, Me’Arah, plays, and that would be the Florida Gators.
While it’s just the latest joke, and surely not the last, between the crew, Charles Barkley can take some solace in the fact his alma mater is unlikely to be the butt of many jokes this season.
Under Bruce Pearl, Auburn is up to No. 2 in the latest AP Poll and already has ranked wins over Houston, Iowa State, UNC and Purdue. The lone loss for Auburn came on the road against Duke while the Tigers are 2-0 in SEC play thus far.
