Charles Lester III is down to just a few schools. He announced his commitment date on social media on Friday.
Lester will be picking between Alabama, Florida State and Colorado on Jul. 28 at 8:30 p.m. ET. Lester visited Alabama on Jun. 2 and has already taken visits with both Florida State and Colorado.
Lester is ranked as a 5-star CB from the 2024 class. The 247Sports Composite lists him as the No. 2 CB and No. 4 prospect out of Florida.
He comes in at 6-foot-1, 171 pounds out of Venice, Florida.

Lester has a few offers from SEC teams. Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, South Carolina, and Tennessee have all shown interest in him.
Zabien Brown and Jaylen Mbakwe are the only true corners who are committed to the Crimson Tide from the 2024 class. Brown is a 4-star commit out of Santa Ana, California and Mbakwe is a 5-star commit.
Alabama has 14 total commits from the 2024 class. The Crimson Tide have three 5-star commits, eight 4-star commits, and three 3-star commits.
Alabama is coming off of an 11-2 season a year ago and looking to return to its standard of winning the SEC.
The Crimson Tide face MTSU in the season opener on Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m. ET on SEC Network.
