Chase Daniel is flexing his broadcasting chops this fall, and the former Mizzou star had quite the shake — literally — during his latest show.
Along with Emmanuel Acho, LeSean McCoy and James Jones, Daniel is a piece of “The Facility,” a new show on FS1 this fall. The quartet was in the middle of one segment and debate when all of a sudden, the cameras started shaking.
“Whoa, earthquake — earthquake!” members of the crew explained while visibly shaken by the ongoing incident.
Jones seemed unbothered by the incident, but Acho revealed to anyone watching what just went down:
“A 5.0 earthquake that y’all just witnessed in real-time, that’s why the cameras are shaking,” said Acho. “The cameras are still shaking.”
At the end of the segment, Acho revealed once again that he did receive an emergency alert, though one that the crew admittedly did not heed in the moment.
“Emergency alert, earthquake detected. Drop, cover, hold on (and) protect yourself,” Acho read off.
"Earthquake!"

Thankfully, things did not get crazier, and it looks like the show continued without a hitch. Still, that’s quite the experience for any broadcaster to go through live on air!
