When there are more than 100,000 people in attendance for a game between two of the top college football teams in the country, it’s going to be a good day for sales inside the stadium. And that was the case at this past Saturday’s Florida-LSU game at Tiger Stadium.
According to LSU senior associate athletic director Robert Munson, the school had a record night for concessions on Saturday, totaling $1.175 million in gross sales in general seating areas. That included 54,794 sales of beer and wine and 52,840 sales of water and soda.
Here’s the full breakdown from Munson:
#LSU had a record day in concessions at Tiger Stadium Saturday night with $1.175 million in gross sales in general seating areas only. Sales included:
? 54,794 beer/wine
? 52,840 water/soda
? 11,723 hot dogs
? 6,107 popcorns
? 5,997 burgers— Robert J. Munson (@RobertJMunson) October 17, 2019
Note: Gross sales number is from our Aramark partners and does NOT include premium areas (clubs/suites) which are serviced by another vendor.
Also, we sold 8,592 nachos. There is, inexplicably, no Twitter emoji for nachos.

The sales likley kept coming because most people didn’t want to leave that game early. LSU tied it at 28 with 7 minutes, 12 seconds to go in the third quarter, and the Tigers scored another pair of unanswered touchdowns to pick up a huge SEC win over Florida.
While LSU won’t be home again this week, the No. 2 Tigers will look to continue their unbeaten start as they travel to play Mississippi State on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
