The Chicago Bears drafted two former Georgia standouts last weekend.

Roquan Smith was the Bears’ first-round pick at No. 8 overall, while Javon Wims was the No. 224 pick overall, and Thursday morning, Chicago announced their new numbers.

Smith wore No. 3 for Georgia, and he’s changing to No. 58. Wims wore No. 6 for the Bulldogs, and he’ll switch to No. 83.

Both Smith and Wims could be big-time NFL players. Yes, Smith will come in with more hype as a first-round pick (and the hype is certainly worthy), but Wims could be an absolute steal for the Bears.
