The Kansas City Chiefs visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday in an important Week 17 matchup at Paul Brown Stadium. Kansas City will be looking to clinch the No. 1 seed in the AFC, which it will do with a win coupled with a Tennessee Titans tie or loss, or a tie paired with a Titans loss.
But the Chiefs will be without running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire. The team ruled him out of Sunday’s game due to a collarbone injury:
We have now ruled RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire OUT for Sunday’s game. He will not travel with the club.
We have added RB Jerick McKinnon to the 53-man roster from IR. McKinnon should be listed on the injury report with a hamstring injury and no designation for Sunday. pic.twitter.com/XR0QueVzx8

Edwards-Helaire had 9 carries for 27 yards and a touchdown on Dec. 26 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but exited in the 3rd quarter after suffering his injury. For the season, he has 119 carries for 517 yards and 4 scores.
It’s not the first time the former LSU star has faced injury issues this year. He missed over a month due to an MCL injury sustained on Oct. 10 in a game against the Buffalo Bills, returning on Nov. 21 against the Dallas Cowboys.
Kansas City and Cincinnati kick off at 1 p.m. Sunday on CBS.
