Former Florida running back Kelvin Taylor was claimed off waivers by the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday.

The Chiefs sent out a release introducing their drafted and undrafted free agent signings, and Taylor was included at the very bottom.

Taylor was cut by the Seattle Seahawks two days ago after being selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the San Francisco 49ers, only to be released last November. Now, the Chiefs make it Taylor’s third team already.

In three seasons at the University of Florida, Taylor rushed for 2,108 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Taylor is the son of former UF and NFL great Fred Taylor, but his NFL career hasn’t panned out yet. Perhaps the Chiefs will give him the fresh start he needs to get going.
