Chris Doering reveals his formula for Kentucky to upset Georgia in Athens

Chris Doering thinks he knows the recipe for a Kentucky upset of Georgia in Week 6.

After beating Florida in Lexington, Kentucky travels to Athens to try and dethrone the back-to-back national champs. Doering had a three-pronged plan for the Wildcats to walk out victorious Friday on Pregaming the SEC.

Doering thinks that Kentucky needs to force turnovers, hit explosive plays, and make Georgia commit untimely penalties to pull off the upset.

“Georgia tried to do what you need to let a team do to upset you versus Auburn. That’s turn the football over, give up big plays, and they committed untimely penalties. I think that’s kind of the basis for the upset. They’ve gotta throw and catch the ball with more consistency. This group is too good at quarterback and wide receiver to not have more consistent success throwing the football. The thing I want to see is can they go out there and hit enough explosive plays through the air to upset someone on the road.”

It’ll be interesting to see if Kentucky follows Doering’s plan for an upset Saturday. Fans will have to wait and see until the game kicks off live from Sanford Stadium.

Do the Wildcats have an upset of No. 1 Georgia in them?
