Chris Lykes was a key bench player for Arkansas during its Elite Eight run this past season.

After transferring in from Miami this offseason, Lykes was a spark plug off the bench and money from the free throw line all year long.

Now, on Sunday, Lykes took to Twitter to announce he was declaring for the 2022 NBA Draft:

It is unclear if he’ll maintain his college eligibility as he goes through the draft process. If he doesn’t, though, it’ll add another open spot for coach Eric Musselman to fill on the Arkansas roster.

Lykes played in 37 games for Arkansas this past season, starting 2 of them. He averaged 7.6 points, 1.5 assists and 1 rebound per game while making 87.5% of his free throws.
