Texas A&M’s top 10 class just got better.

That’s because one of the nation’s top prospects just announced his commitment to Texas A&M as Memphis native Chris Morris is now an Aggie. Morris is coming off an official visit to College Station for the Alabama game.

The 6-foot-3, 287-pound Morris is rated as a four-star prospect, the nation’s No. 3 offensive guard prospect and the No. 97 overall recruit in the 2020 recruiting cycle by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Morris committed to Texas A&M over Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas.

Jimbo Fisher already had a top 10 recruiting class before Morris’ commitment but the Tennessee native now on board, Texas A&M has 19 total commitments in the 2020 recruiting cycle. In addition to Morris, the class has commitments from the nation’s No. 2 receiver (Demond Demas), the No. 1 safety (Jaylon Jones), the No. 2 dual-threat quarterback (Haynes King), the No. 8 safety (Antonio Johnson), the No. 9 offensive guard (Akinola Ogunbiyi) and the No. 10 weakside defensive end (Fadil Diggs).
