Army and Navy will meet Saturday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. in the annual rivalry game that college football fans around the country enjoy every December.
Army is a 7-point favorite in the game as the Black Knights come in with an 8-3 record, while Navy sits at 3-8. The game is set to kick off at 3 p.m. ET on CBS.
ESPN’s Chris “The Bear” Fallica made his regular appearance on WJOX FM out of Birmingham, Alabama and the “McElroy and Cubelic In the morning” show to discuss betting thoughts around the game. The over/under is 34.5.
“I think Army’s the better football team, and I think there’s been a little bit of money on Navy this week,” Fallica said. “I would lean toward laying the points in this one. But that total is so hard either way. Because do you have the intestinal fortitude to quote Gorilla Monsoon to bet an under 34, 34.5. Yet at the same time, I would love to sit with someone who has a significant wager on the over as the clock just runs, and ticks away.”
