Christian Beal-Smith made his return from injury for South Carolina last week against Texas A&M after recovering from a foot injury.
The Wake Forest transfer was limited, but still produced when it counted. He scored 1 touchdown but was held to just 12 yards rushing on 8 attempts.
He addressed his injury status on Tuesday. For the most part, it seems things are looking up for the senior running back.
Christian Beal-Smith starting things off today:
On his injury:
“I wouldn’t say I’m 100 percent, but I’d say I’m getting closer to that point.”

Beal-Smith has rushed for 4 touchdowns this season and has been used as the Gamecocks’ short yardage back. He’s a valuable weapon for the Gamecocks to have, especially if preserving their 4-game winning streak is on the table.
South Carolina is back in action this Saturday against Mizzou. The game is set for 4 p.m. EST on SEC Network.
