Christian Leary, a former Alabama wide receiver, has announced his destination after he entered the transfer portal about 2 weeks ago.

Leary will return to his hometown of Orlando, Florida, and play for Central Florida.

Leary, a 5-10, 175-pound sophomore, caught 1 pass for 6 yards this season and added a tackle on special teams. In 2 seasons with the Crimson Tide, he hauled in 3 receptions for 10 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Leary was a notable recruit, and was rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 75 overall prospect in the 2021 class. Coming out of high school, Leary chose Alabama over the likes of Florida, Arkansas, and Auburn.

Leary is the second Alabama wide receiver to transfer to UCF since the end of last season.

Javon Baker transferred this past summer after 2 seasons at Alabama, and led the Knights with 747 yards on 54 catches this season.
