Christopher Smith took some time on Thursday at the NFL Combine to reflect on his time and Georgia and look ahead to what the Bulldogs have returning in the secondary.

Smith said one game he’d show to NFL scouts, he’d start with the Oregon game to start the 2022 season.

“I was able to make a lot of big plays in different ways, TFLs, interceptions, pass break ups and big hits,” he said.

Smith is looking forward to representing Georgia and running a fast 40-yard dash time.

As for the Georgia defense returning next season, he noted Dan Jackson, Malaki Starks, David Daniel-Sisavanh, and early enrollee Joenel Aguero as players to watch.

“They all bring something different to the table,” Smith said. “All you have to know is, if you’re coming to the University of Georgia, they’re special talents. All of them could play anywhere at the end of the day.”

Smith was also asked about which 3 opponents Georgia should play each year in the SEC with the new scheduling model expected once Oklahoma and Texas enter the league. Smith said it should be Florida, Auburn and Tennessee.
