Oklahoma State RB Chuba Hubbard taking break from social media; calls it a ‘playground for hate’

Oklahoma State star RB Chuba Hubbard made headlines this offseason when he called out coach Mike Gundy for wearing a One America News Network T-shirt and threatening to distance himself from the Cowboy program.
Hubbard has since taken other stances on social media, but he is now apparently going to take a break and focus on the upcoming season.
As you can see below, he posted on his Twitter account on Tuesday afternoon that he wouldn’t be on social media for a while, calling it a “playground for hate”:

It seems he could find his way back to Twitter at some point, but for now, he’s stepping away.
