CJ Dippre, a transfer tight end leaving Maryland, has already noted multiple offers for his next program. And now he has narrowed the list, and set a commitment date.

Dippre spent his first 2 seasons as a tight end for Maryland, but on Friday named Alabama and Ohio State as his finalists, and said that he would announce his decision on Tuesday. Those 2 made the cut after Dippre also received offers from the likes of Ole Miss, Illinois, Nebraska, Rutgers, NC State, West Virginia and South Carolina.

In his freshman year at Maryland in 2021, Dippre caught 3 receptions for 25 yards. This season, he saw his production improve as he caught 30 receptions for 314 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Dippre enrolled at Maryland as a 3-star tight end in the 2021 recruiting class from Jermyn, Pennsylvania. He was the 45th-rated tight end and the 24th-rated prospect in the state, according to 247Sports Composite.
