Former LSU CB Morris Claiborne’s 2011 SEC championship ring was listed for sale on eBay on Monday.

But the current Dallas Cowboy’s agent, Ricky Simmons, said Monday night that the ring was not on the market.

According to NOLA.com’s Jim Kleinpeter, Claiborne’s representative says someone who Claiborne knows posted the ring for sale without his consent.

“It was not him and it is not for sale, (Ricky) Simmons said adamantly. “Mo had no knowledge of it until he saw the story. He was very unhappy about it.”

The eBay listing, which was asking $100,000 for the ring, was removed on Monday night.

Those that are in search of rare LSU football memorabilia will apparently have to look elsewhere.
