With Wisconsin leading Iowa 20-7 late in the third quarter, sophomore tight end Clay Cundiff was seriously injured.

Cundiff got rolled up on by a few teammates from behind, and the training staff immediately called for an ambulance to transport Cundiff from the field directly to the hospital.

As they were putting the tight end into the ambulance, Cundiff had his leg in a cast, and he was waiving to the home crowd. That was a welcome scene, considering the ambulance was out on the field.

ESPN refused to show the replay, too, during the broadcast, which tells everyone it was a brutal injury. Below is the video from the game showing Cundiff being escorted off the field by the ambulance.

We sure hope he will be OK.
