It’s been exactly one year since Johnny Manziel entered rehab, but things haven’t gotten much better for the Cleveland Browns quarterback.

Manziel just hasn’t been able to get on track with the Browns, and the team may be done waiting to see if he can figure it out.

Sashi Brown, the team’s executive vice president of football operations, released a statement on Tuesday regarding Manziel:

“We’ve been clear about expectations for our players on and off the field. Johnny’s continual involvement in incidents that run counter to those expectations undermines the hard work of his teammates and the reputation of our organization. His status with our team will be addressed when permitted by league rules. We will have no further comment at this time.”

It was exactly one year to the date that reports surfaced that Manziel had entered rehab. At the time, his adviser Brad Beckworth had this to say about the former Heisman Trophy winner, who had entered the unnamed facility a week prior:

“Johnny knows there are areas he needs to improve on to help him be a better family member, friend and teammate, so he decided to take this step in his life during the offseason.”

We’ll update you on Manziel’s standing with the team whenever it’s made public.
