Close SEC matchup was the most-watched CFB game in Week 6

There were plenty of intriguing contests and near-upsets that took place during Week 6 of the college football season, but one particular SEC matchup reigned king in the “most-watched” category.

And it isn’t surprising that it was the contest between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas A&M Aggies. According to a report from Stewart Mandel of The Athletic, the viewership of 7.1 million people on CBS was more than any other college football game of the week and the most since the Week 2 Alabama vs. Texas contest that aired on FOX Sports.

With exciting games like the one between Alabama and Tennessee and Kentucky and Mississippi State, expect Week 7 to be another big one for viewership in the SEC.
