With a myriad of teams beginning conference play within the SEC over the weekend, there was plenty of shakeup in the league’s landscape.
Georgia’s thrilling overtime victory over Tennessee has the Dawgs believing they are the team to beat in the conference. Meanwhile, LSU picked up a gritty win over Florida, Ole Miss outlasted Arkansas in another shootout, Vanderbilt thumped LaNorris Sellers-less South Carolina and Texas A&M picked up a statement win over Notre Dame on the road.
Those were just a few of the notable results from the SEC’s weekend of action, and thanks to plenty of under-the-radar teams securing positive results, the league saw its number of teams ranked in this week’s Coaches Poll jump to a whopping 12 after only 9 were included last week.
