Arkansas experienced a tough road loss on Saturday night as it traveled to Colorado State, blew an 18-point lead and lost, 27-9, in Chad Morris’ second game as Razorbacks coach.

After the game, Arkansas quarterback Cole Kelley felt it was his team’s mistakes that cost them.

“Colorado State didn’t beat us,” Kelley told the media. “We beat ourselves.”

Kelley was 6-for-9 for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Ty Storey started the game at quarterback for the Razorbacks, but he struggled and was replaced by Kelley.

Arkansas was outscored by Colorado State, 17-0, in the fourth quarter.

“It was clearly pretty tough,” Kelley said. “It’s going to hurt, but it’s going to define us how we come back from it.”

The Razorbacks will look to bounce back next Saturday when they host North Texas.
