Since joining the Cleveland Browns in 2019, Odell Beckham Jr’s numbers have shown a little decline. Beckham has 1,478 yards receiving and 7 touchdowns since joining the team.
Colin Cowherd discussed this on his show ‘The Herd with Colin Cowherd’ and talked about whether it’s worth trading the former LSU Tiger.
Odell Beckham Jr. was never a fit with Baker Mayfield:

“There are three professional athletes over the last several years I would have moved off of very quickly,” said Cowherd. “Ben Simmons with the Sixers, Kyrie and the Nets, and Odell Beckham and the Browns. I think we as a people don’t consider fit, we’re all into talent. Fit is a big part of the NFL.”
Cowherd went on to make an analogy, comparing how the forced quarterback-and-wide receiver pairing of Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant didn’t work out with Cowboys.
“There was data from the very beginning with Odell and Baker in Cleveland that it didn’t work,” said Cowherd. “I saw this with Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant. When you have a young quarterback like Baker Mayfield who’s trying to impress people, and then you give him a superstar wide receiver, he was trying to force the ball to Odell. Dak did the exact same thing with Dez Bryant.”
Will the Browns move on from Odell at some point? Only time will tell.
