Things just got a lot more interesting in the SEC East.
Former Notre Dame QB Malik Zaire has reportedly been eyeing a grad transfer to Florida, and SEC commissioner Greg Sankey announced Friday that the rules were being relaxed just in time for his hopes to potentially become reality.
This created a bit of a pandemonium on Twitter, as Florida fans celebrated, and some neutral fans threw shade at the still unproven QB.

I really don’t know whether Malik Zaire is even good. But you can bet the preseason coverage will make him seem like second coming of Tebow https://t.co/dJyppiwXJV

Malik Zaire is good, don't get me wrong. But he got beat out by a guy that went 4-8.

Over/Under on number of minutes it takes for Malik Zaire to announce his decision? Set at 2.5. #Gators

Don't want to be a hater, but y'all realize Malik Zaire has 98 career pass attempts, right? Are we sure he's good?
