College football bowl projections: ESPN’s updated predictions feature 12 SEC teams

College football bowl projections have been updated following Week 6. Most teams around the country have finished half of their regular-season schedules.
So, where do things stand when it comes to the bowl picture? ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura and Mark Schlabach updated their predictions this week.
As you can see below, a total of 12 SEC teams are mentioned (everyone but Auburn and Vanderbilt). Both experts have Alabama and Georgia in the College Football Playoff.
Here’s a look at where each SEC team is expected to end up this postseason:
Alabama
- Bonagura: Fiesta Bowl (CFP) vs. Ohio State
- Schlabach: Fiesta Bowl (CFP) vs. Ohio State
Arkansas
- Bonagura: Music City Bowl vs. Illinois
- Schlabach: Texas Bowl vs. Baylor
Florida
- Bonagura: Liberty Bowl vs. Kansas
- Schlabach: Gator Bowl vs. Notre Dame
Georgia
- Bonagura: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson
- Schlabach: Peach Bowl (CFP) vs. Clemson
Kentucky
- Bonagura: Gator Bowl vs. NC State
- Schlabach: Las Vegas Bowl vs. Washington State
LSU
- Bonagura: ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Purdue
- Schlabach: Music City Bowl vs. Maryland
Mississippi State
