With 11 bowl games in the rear view mirror, Saturday sees 7 postseason matchups take place, starting at noon ET and ending with the Hawaii Bowl at 10:30 p.m. ET.
The noon ET slot features a pair of bowl games played in Alabama: Arkansas State and Northern Illinois tangle in the Camelia Bowl in Montgomery, while Troy faces Duke 90 miles north in the Birmingham Bowl.
A pair of 3:30 ET games are next on the docket: in Fort Worth, James Madison, a 11-win team in their 2nd season in FBS, takes on Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl. The Dukes wouldn’t have qualified for bowl eligiblity under NCAA regulations involving programs transitioning to FBS, but were granted passage with not enough teams over .500 available to fill every slot. Meanwhile, in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, Georgia State plays Utah State.
Things shift back to Alabama at 7 ET — Mobile this time — and the 68 Ventures Bowl between South Alabama and Eastern Michigan. In Las Vegas at 7:30 ET, Utah and Northwestern square off in the aptly-named Las Vegas Bowl.
Finally, at 10:30 p.m. ET, the Hawai’i Bowl closes out the night as Coastal Carolina and San Jose State square off in Honolulu.
