College football fans blast ABC for showing replay of Oklahoma player’s gruesome injury

Oklahoma and Tennessee is the marquee game of Week 4 in college football, and it has been a defensive game in Norman.
Both defenses have made some big plays, as there have been a combined 5 turnovers forced in the first half. There have been some big time hits, and unfortunately, a serious injury.
During a play in the first half, Oklahoma defensive back Kendel Dolby suffered a serious leg injury while trying to make a tackle.
Showing the replay of injuries has become a hot topic in football over the past few years. Many people are against it, especially when it as serious as the one Dolby suffered. Despite that, ABC decided to show the replay of the injury, and that has caused quite a stir on social media.
We won’t post the video of the injury in this article, but we will show some of the reactions to the decision made by ABC:
Why did they show that replay smh

I flat out can’t believe ABC showed that replay.

ABC should've let it be. No need for that replay of the injury. #TENNvsOU

We don't need to see somebody's leg turned the wrong way via replay, @espn. You told us it's gruesome and there's an aircast. That's enough.

Yeah why did ESPN/ABC feel the need to replay that? @sportsiren described it well enough https://t.co/yl1rgGAiYt

Dolby was just coming back from a different injury, as he missed last week’s game due to a concussion. While there hasn’t been an update yet on his injury, the fact they put the air cast on his leg is generally a bad sign.
The Volunteers are currently starting to take control in Norman, as they are leading 19-3 at the half. Tennessee will get the ball to start the second half, and could be in a position to put the Sooners away.
