College football game delayed by ACC team’s coaches getting stuck in stadium elevator

Sometimes we have to remember that it’s Week 1 for everyone and mistakes are going to happen.

Acrisure Stadium didn’t have enough beer for the fans at the Backyard Brawl on Thursday.

And on Friday it was the elevators at S.B. Ballard Stadiun at Old Dominion University that forced a delay to the start of the second half between Virginia Tech and Old Dominion. The coaches at Virginia Tech were stuck on the elevator and could not get to the coaches box.

There seems to be no sign of foul play here, but in college football you never know.

Currently Virginia Tech is ahead of Old Dominion, 17-10, late in the third quarter.
