The College Football Hall of Fame revealed Wednesday that it has created a memorial for Mike Leach, who sadly passed away Monday night following complications from a heart condition.
The memorial has Mississippi State, Texas Tech and Wazzu helmets, a copy of Swing Your Sword, a plaque commemorating Leach, a picture from his days at Kentucky and more surrounding a table at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta.
Here’s a video the Hall’s official Twitter account tweeted out Wednesday.

This is a very cool gesture for one of the sport’s very best. Leach was a brilliant mind who saw the game differently and developed a scheme and coaching tree that is very impressive. Kliff Kingsbury, Sonny Dykes, Dana Holgorsen, Josh Heupel, Lincoln Riley and more can thank Leach for where they are at today.
May Coach Leach Rest in Peace.
