College Football Playoff announces concerts for National Championship in Houston

The College Football Playoff announced its musical guests that will perform ahead of the National Championship game in Houston on Jan. 8.

Artists will play concerts inside Houston’s Shell Energy Stadium over the course of the weekend leading up to Monday’s National Championship game. The events will start on Friday with a performance for the youngsters in attendance. KIDZ BOP will kickoff the weekend with their performance. After that 6-time Grammy-nominated rapper Jack Harlow will take the stage along with 2-time Grammy nominee Latto.

Capping off the weekend, Sunday’s performances will feature some of the hottest country music stars around. ACM and CMA award-winning artist Jon Pardi will take the stage, as will Jake Owen and Megan Moroney.

The CFP race is heating up, and with just 2 games left in the regular season, the Playoff picture is starting to take shape. After Tuesday night’s CFP rankings Georgia sits at No. 1, followed by Ohio State, Michigan and Florida State.

The next few weeks could lead to a shakeup in those rankings, and it will certainly be a fun ending to the season.
