The top four is set, and the world knows exactly who will be competing for the College Football Playoff at the end of the bowl season.

Four conference champions are in, and ESPN’s FPI used its analytics to give percentage chances for each team to win a national championship. These figures were provided by ESPN’s Seth Walder on Twitter:

  • #1 LSU — 29%
  • #2 Ohio State — 35%
  • #3 Clemson — 28%
  • #4 Oklahoma — 9%

After a dominant SEC Championship win over Georgia, LSU nailed down the top seed, but it’s Ohio State that has the highest percent chance to win the Playoff.

The FPI clearly sees Oklahoma as the weak link in the top four, but Jalen Hurts and the Sooners will come in with a chip on their shoulder to face a familiar opponent for Hurts.

Three out of the four teams are undefeated, and there is no clear-cut favorite. It should be a fascinating scene to see who comes out on top.
