All eyes are on the rankings as the 2022 college football season enters its final weeks before bowl matchups are set.

The College Football Playoff selection committee’s Dec. 4 rankings will set the New Year’s Six field, but plenty of voices like to weigh in by ranking the top teams. The AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll are the most cited rankings. The Super 16 offers a perspective from a panel made up of FWAA writers and College Football Hall of Famers.

In the latest Super 16, Georgia remains on top. The Bulldogs have 49 of the 52 first-place votes, with Ohio State receiving the other 3 votes.

No. 5 Tennessee, No. 6 LSU, No. 8 Alabama and No. 14 Ole Miss give the SEC 5 teams, which is tied with the Pac-12 for the lead.
