College football rankings: Predicting the AP Top 25 after 4 top 10 upsets

No. 1 will still stay the same. As for the rest of the poll, there is going to be a lot of shuffling.
Four teams ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press Top 25 lost on Saturday (No. 2 Georgia, No. 6 West Virginia, No. 7 Washington and No. 8 Penn State). Another four ranked teams (No. 15 Wisconsin, No. 16 Miami, No. 19 Colorado and No. 21 Auburn) also lost, adding to the chaos.
Making it tricky on the voters is the fact six ranked teams were off in Week 7. Many of those teams are going to move up in the rankings simply because of what happened to the teams around them.
With so many top 10 losses, the top five is set to be reshaped. Look for Ohio State to slide up one spot to No. 2 after defeating Minnesota 30-14. Clemson was off, but the Tigers will almost certainly be voted into No. 3. Notre Dame’s 19-14 win over Pittsburgh might have hurt the Fighting Irish in a normal week, but they will likely move up with the No. 4 opened up by reshuffling.
Since the Nos. 6-8 teams all lost, the new No. 5 is less clear. Voters will probably turn to the old No. 5, LSU. The win over No. 2 Georgia is the most impressive win for any team on the season. It should make the Bayou Bengals the highest-ranked one-loss Power 5 team.
