College football rankings: Where every SEC team ranks in the Vegas Power Ratings entering Week 10

AP Top 25 voters have Georgia ranked No. 1. The College Football Playoff selection committee tabbed Tennessee as the No. 1 team in the nation. The latest Vegas Rankings have a different team as the highest-ranked SEC squad.
Alabama is ranked No. 2, ahead of UGA and UT, in the latest Vegas Rankings from Phil Steele. The Vegas Rankings are formed by Steele’s “Vegas Rating” for each team.
Steele, who has connections with handicappers at multiple Las Vegas casinos’ sportsbooks, notes that the difference in 2 teams’ Vegas Ratings gives an idea of what the opening betting line would be if they met on a neutral field.
Alabama is not undefeated, but would still be favored on a neutral field against Georgia or Tennessee, according to the numbers from Steele and the smartest folks in the desert. Ohio State is No. 1 among all teams in Steele’s latest Vegas Rankings.
Here’s where the 14 SEC teams stand entering Week 10:
