College football has had some one-sided games throughout the season and Tulsa-SMU was no different.
The Mustangs put up 52 points in the first half and dominated Tulsa every step of the way. The Mustangs let everyone know what they’re about with an ACC debut on the horizon.
SMU broke out a bottle service celebration after going up by multiple scores in the first quarter. The team calls the celebration “Club Takeaway.”

SMU will be joining the ACC next year along with Cal and Stanford. The Mustangs will join the conference on Jul. 1, 2024. Cal and Stanford are set to join at the beginning of August of that year.
The Mustangs may break some records in scoring before this game goes final. Some teams dropped upwards of 70 points on opponents during the first couple of weeks of the season.
SMU is on pace to do just that.
