College football fans are enjoying an incredible start to the 2025 season. Through seven weeks, the sport has had a little bit of everything. There have been stunning upsets and marquee matchups, while individual players like Ty Simpson and Rueben Bain having monster starts to the year.

Fans across the country are taking notice, and they aren’t missing any of the action as the college football TV ratings continue to reach new heights.

In Week 7, ABC had the three biggest games of the weekend, the network announced on Tuesday. Oklahoma and Texas had 8.7 million viewers, while peaking at $9.3 million. The Alabama-Missouri game had 7.0 million viewers, but at its peak it was at 10.7 million. The third most-watched in Week 7 was Georgia vs. Auburn, who finished with 6.7 million.

For ABC, this is the best 7-week start on record for the network, while ESPN is off to its best 7-week start since 2009.

As good as Week 7 was for ratings, Week 8 has a chance to be even better. There are three top-25 games in the SEC this week.
