Georgia’s tight end room consisting of Brock Bowers, Darnell Washington and Arik Gilbert is certainly one of the best in college football this season. But is it one of the best in college football history?
David Pollack of College GameDay seems to think so.
“This is one of the best tight end rooms in the history of college football,” Pollack said, via Dawgpost.com.

Bowers, as just a sophomore, represents Georgia’s leading receiver from last season. He totaled 882 yards receiving with 13 touchdowns last season as a freshman.
Washington is set for a strong junior campaign. He totaled just 154 yards receiving last season, but is a dominating presence on the line in run block and could break out as a receiver in 2022. Gilbert, an LSU transfer, is just another addition to an already huge tight end room. He’s athletic as they come, standing at 6-foot-5, 248 pounds.
Now tell me, who is going to guard all of that?
