College GameDay announces ‘Animal House’ actor Tim Matheson to serve as guest picker

Though the iconic movie “Animal House” is set at the fictional Faber College, it was shot on location at the University of Oregon.
So, when ESPN decided to travel to Eugene for Week 4’s edition of College GameDay, there was an “Animal House” theme to it.
In fact, early Saturday morning, the show announced that Tim Matheson, who plays “Otter” in the movie, would serve as the guest picker.
Matheson went on to play a big role in “West Wing” and also played Van Wilder’s dad in that popular movie’s sequel, among numerous other credits.
Will he have as much success as a guest picker? We’ll find out shortly.
