With Power 5 football underway for the 2020 season, ESPN’s College GameDay is back on the road this Saturday, broadcasting from Winston-Salem, North Carolina for No. 1 Clemson at Wake Forest. On Friday, the show announced on social media that Oklahoma City Thunder point guard and Wake Forest alum Chris Paul will be the first celebrity guest picker of the season.

GameDay will be different in 2020. On last Saturday’s preview show, it was revealed that the popular pregame show will not have fans in attendance this year. Fans are encouraged to take part in ESPN’s recently announced “Virtual Pit.”

In addition to no fans allowed at the host venue, it was also reported this week that Lee Corso will not be traveling with the crew this fall. Corso, 85, will instead contribute remotely from his Florida home. On the preview show, Corso had an impressive home setup. Corso has been featured on GameDay since 1987.

Both the ACC and Big 12 will be in action on Saturday. Clemson is currently favored over Wake Forest by 33 points.
