College GameDay is headed to Bloomington.
ESPN announced Indiana as the Week 9 destination for its traveling pregame show. The undefeated Hoosiers are hosting Washington.
It’s the first time GameDay will hold a Saturday show at IU. GameDay came to Indiana for a 2-hour Thursday show in 2017 when the Hoosiers hosted Ohio State.
It will be a special show for Lee Corso. Corso, 89, was the Indiana head coach from 1973-82. He took the Hoosiers to the Holiday Bowl in 1979. On Saturday, Corso will spend time at the desk with host Rece Davis and analysts Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit.

Indiana has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2024 college football season. In his first season, Curt Cignetti has the Hoosiers undefeated. IU entered Week 8 ranked No. 16 in the AP Top 25. Indiana is sure to climb in the rankings after a 56-7 beatdown of Nebraska.
Sunday’s announcement comes as ESPN’s Pete Thamel reports that Hoosier quarterback Kurtis Rourke is set to miss at least 1 game. Through Week 8, Rourke is the nation’s leader in passer efficiency rating at 188.71. The Hoosiers turned to Tayven Jackson in the second half of the Nebraska game.
IU enters the Washington game 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Big Ten play. Indiana joins No. 2 Oregon (7-0 overall, 4-0 Big Ten) and No. 3 Penn State (7-0, 4-0) as B1G squads with unblemished records. After Washington, the Hoosiers have Michigan State, Michigan, Ohio State and Purdue on the remaining regular-season schedule.
