College GameDay announces legendary actor as guest picker

After a professional athlete for the first celebrity guest picker of 2020, College GameDay went a different route on Saturday, but there is still a college basketball connection. During Saturday’s show, GameDay announced that legendary actor and comedian Bill Murray will be this week’s celebrity guest picker.
Last week at Wake Forest, GameDay went with former Demon Deacons basketball star Chris Paul. Murray’s connection to the host school is also related to college hoops. His son, Luke Murray, is in his third season on the Louisville basketball coaching staff.
Murray will be picking another Saturday slate highlighted by ACC and Big 12 teams in action, including Miami-Louisville, Tulsa-Oklahoma State, UCF-Georgia Tech and South Florida-Notre Dame.
