For Week 12, ESPN’s “College GameDay” is making a surprise trip to Orlando.
Kirk Herbstreit shared on Twitter that the World Wide Leader’s traveling pregame show is heading to the Sunshine State for the UCF-Cincinnati game. UCF fans have been campaigning for more ESPN attention and some “GameDay” love throughout the past two seasons, something Herbstreit acknowledges in his video. Considering some of Herbstreit’s takes, it’s fair to expect he’ll be mentioned on a lot of Knights fans’ signs Saturday.
UCF is now 9-0 after defeating Navy 35-24 in Week 11. The Knights are ranked No. 11 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 12 by the College Football Playoff selection committee. Cincinnati, No. 25 in the Week 11 AP Top 25, advanced to 9-1 on the season after beating USF 35-23.
