For the second week in a row, ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast from Big 12 country.
ESPN revealed Saturday night that Kirk Herbstreit and company are heading to Ames, Iowa for Iowa at Iowa State. The game is set to feature two ranked teams. No. 20 Iowa defeated Rutgers 30-0 on Saturday, improving to 2-0 on the year.
No. 25 Iowa State was off after surviving a Week 1 scare from Northern Iowa. The Cyclones shared the No. 25 ranking with Nebraska in the Week 2 AP Top 25. Nebraska lost to Colorado on Saturday, which should resolve the tie at No. 25.
It will be the first time GameDay has ever visited Iowa State, presumably adding to the appeal for the World Wide Leader.
