College GameDay will be broadcasted live from the Orange Bowl on Friday ahead of the Georgia-Michigan College Football Playoff semifinal.
ESPN’s pregame show announced the guest picker for the show would be WWE legend and former Georgia Bulldogs player Bill Goldberg.
Goldberg announced the news in a Twitter video.
“I’ve had so many wonderful experiences in my career,” Goldberg said. “But there’s one thing that has eluded me. Tomorrow, Goldberg celebrity guest picker for College GameDay.
“Corso, Herbstreit — better get your act together, boys. Goldberg’s coming, and I’m looking for both of you.”

After his career at Georgia, Goldberg went on to play in the NFL with the Rams. He later became a WWE superstar. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
The College Football Playoff semifinal games are scheduled for Friday. Alabama and Cincinnati play at 3:30 p.m. ET in the Cotton Bowl, and Georgia plays Michigan at 7:30 p.m. in the Orange Bowl.
