ESPN is giving its iconic College GameDay bus a new look for the 2025 season, honoring longtime analyst Lee Corso ahead of his final appearance on the
The redesign celebrates Corso’s 38-year run on College GameDay, where he helped turn the Saturday morning pregame into one of college football’s most beloved traditions. Most notably, Corso introduced the famous “headgear pick” in 1996, donning mascot heads to predict winners — a segment that has since become synonymous with the show.
GameDay kicks off its 39th season this weekend in Columbus, Ohio, as defending national champion Ohio State hosts Texas in a College Football Playoff semifinal rematch. It will mark the show’s 26th trip to Columbus, the most of any school.
To mark the occasion, ESPN and sponsor The Home Depot will also debut a one-time commemorative logo — College GameDay Built by The Home Depot and Lee Corso — featuring Corso’s signature. On-site in Columbus, fans will receive giveaways, including limited edition Corso t-shirts for the first 100 fans, 1,000 handheld Corso masks, and a chance to take photos with an oversized mascot head.
At 90 years old, Corso has scaled back appearances in recent years but remains a cherished part of the broadcast. His farewell appearance offers fans one last chance to celebrate a college football icon.
