College GameDay forgot to flip a switch somewhere before kicking off Saturday’s broadcast.

ESPN’s traditional pre-game show is live in Auburn for the rivalry matchup between the Tigers and No. 3 Alabama. Unfortunately, viewers watching the opening of the broadcast were delivered a curveball.

The show’s introduction referenced Durham, College GameDay’s destination from last week for the rivalry game between UNC and Duke.

“Well, we have a turnover right out of the gate. We just took the ball and threw it right into the stands,” said Rece Davis as the crew tried to play off the miscue.

Hopefully, the rest of the broadcast goes off a bit smoother than that.

Regardless of the gaffe, the matchup in Auburn should be a good one with the Tigers looking to upset the Crimson Tide and spoil Alabama’s undefeated record in SEC play. Saturday’s tip-off is set for 2 pm ET on ESPN.
